China - China Preparing Draft Regulation to Eliminate Certain Chemical Substances Contained in Electronic Products

Senior Chinese governmental officials responsible for overseeing the development of laws governing environmental protection have informed us that government authorities are preparing a new regulation aimed at eliminating from electronic products certain substances of environmental concern. The provisional title of the draft regulation is the "Management Methods for Pollution Prevention and Control in the Production of Electronic Information Products."
