Norway restricts the usage of nickel via The Regulations No. 922 of 1 June 2004, as amended. The national provisions in Norway are a transposition of EU Directives 76/769/EEC, and 94/27/EC and 2004/96/EC.

Defined Restrictions:
Skin contact articles: 0.5 µ./cm2/week in articles coming into direct and prolonged contact with skin.
Skin contact materials with a non-nickel coating: 0.5 µg/cm2/week for a period of at least two years of normal use of the product.
