Florida has joined the states that restrict the use of certain toxic substances in electronic products or product packaging. The state has also enacted legislation that restricts the type and mercury-content of batteries that may be sold in the state.

Defined Restrictions:
Regulated metals must be below 100 ppm for each package or packaging component.
